Abstract
The article deals with the forensic component of the proving in the juridical process the objective part of the crime which possibility can be realized by the method of shooting from close distance by the deactivated firearm charged with light-audible cartridges. The legal distribution and free sale of that kind of arms can’t exclude the possibility of the formation of such criminal casus. SUDDEN DEATH SYNDROME AND OTHER INDICATORS OF INFANT DEATH IN STAVROPOL REGION
Abstract
The «Sudden Infant Death Syndrome» stands for unexpected nonviolent death of apparently healthy chest age child when there is no history or pathomorphological features which can be adequate explanations for death reasons. In Russian Federation, the death rate from this syndrome in the range of 0.06 to 2.8 per 1000 live births. In Stavropol region, average figures are equal to 0,36 per 1000 live births in the period of 2005–2014. The maximum recorded rate was 0.53 per 1,000 in 2012, while the minimum was observed in 2007 (0.23 per 1,000). Rates of incidence sudden infant death syndrome are similar to the rates of incidence associated with infectious diseases, and as a result of injury or poisoning. Currently paid attention to neurogenic mechanisms of sudden infant death syndrome, as a consequence in combination cranio-spinal birth injury with delayed fatal in infancy, in the period of residual effects.

TISSUE TYPING BY MEANS OF PCR AND CAPILLARY ELECTROPHORESIS: NEW ASPECTS, REALITY AND ISSUES
Abstract
«When the DNA is not enough» – an issue that becoming popular among forensic biologists [1]. The reasons for that are methods of tissue typing, that have limited accuracy and gradually becoming obsolete. The purpose of this review is to discuss the integration of new mRNA markers to the routine genetic forensic practice. The review discusses possibilities of utilizing the developed mRNA biomarkers for tissue typing as well as the approaches of combining gene expression analyses with standard sample workflow in forensic and criminal laboratories. Based on data obtained by the foreign researches, new mRNA markers are quite compatible with classical protocols, including PCR and capillary electrophoresis, increase the specificity of immunological methods and do not require rejection of their use. In the near future we can expect commercially developed tissue specific and multiplex assays at markets abroad. Although population diversity of genetic expression does not allow to create a universal multiplex panel, nevertheless the existing tissue mRNA panel can be enriched by the national features.
