General information about paid services available to the authors of the journal

Along with many other journals in the wider community, the journals published by Eco-Vector levy Article Submission Charge (ASC) or Publishing Fees.

Publisher charges Publishing Fees, and this is clearly flagged in the journal's guide for authors and during the submission process (on the step 1 and step 7). As described below, all monies derived from APC are used to support the editorial preparation, journal hosting and development, and article selection quality.

Publisher do not levy any mandatory additional fees from authors (NO Article Submission Charge, NO Color Images Charge, NO Charge per Pages).

Publisher offers authors a number of additional paid services DOES NOT AFFECT the peer-review results and the editorial board decisions:

  • Fast-Track (emergency peer-review of the manuscript);
  • Full-text translation from/to English and other languages (available only for authors whose manuscript has been accepted for publication by the editorial board, and only after the appropriate notification from the editorial team).

Publishing Fees

Price: 1000.00 (USD)

Mandatory Payment

Publishing Fees are charged to authors to make their work available online. This fee may be paid by the author, the author’s institution, or their research funder. The journal charges Publishing Fees to cover the costs involved in the publication process, from administrating peer-review to copyediting and hosting the final article on dedicated servers. 

Authors are only eligible to pay Publishing Fees only after receiving official notification from the editors that their article has been accepted for publication.

Immediate Open Access Charge

Price: 1500.00 (USD)

Optional Payment

The journal is available for subscribrs, but authors can make their articles available in Open Access and influence the distribution of published work to the global professional community (more information about Open Access can be found in the WIKI).

Immediate Open Access Charge (IOAC) is a fee charged to authors to make their work available as open access (OA). This fee may be paid by the author, the author’s institution, or their research funder. The journal charges Publishing Fees to cover the costs involved in the publication process, from administrating peer-review to copy editing and hosting the final article on dedicated servers. 

Articles published in OA will be distributed under the terms of the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license, without an embargo period or any other restrictions.

Waiver policy

Waiver policy

An author's team can apply to the Editor-in-Chief for Publishing Fees cancellation or for a discount. We don't want the need for payment to become a barrier to publishing high-quality work in our journal.

To receive a discount, a member of the author team should submit a written collective request to the publisher for a discount on Publishing Fees, along with a justification for their request.

The decision on whether to grant a discount and its amount is made jointly by the editor-in-chief and the publisher's management based on the author's request. If the discount is approved, authors will be informed of the final cost and further payment instructions.

Discounts are available for all paid publishing services (Immediate Open Access Charge, Fast-Track protocol, Publishing Fees) as part of the Peer-Reviewer Rewards Program.

Readers without a subscription may still purchase individual issues. The following payment options and fees are available.

Access for an Issue: 165.00 (USD)

You can purchase the access for all articles published in one issue. Access to articles will be provide for an unlimited time.

Access to issue allows you to read, download and print full text (PDF and HTML) of all articles, but does not allow to distribute, copy or reproduce articles materials until the end of the embargo period (3 years) since the publication of the article).

Article Purchase

You can purchase the access for the article to read, download and print its fulltext (PDF, HTML). Access to article will be provide for an unlimited time.
