If it is impossible to carry out the identification by face, the identification by gait becomes relevant.</p> <p><bold><italic>AIM:</italic></bold> To define the step cycle as one of the gait personality identification parameters</p> <p><bold><italic>MATERIALS AND METHODS:</italic></bold> Study design: a single- and single-point (per population) observational study, with results registered in the Database of Step Cycle Characteristics (certificate of state registration no. 2022623085). The primary end-point of the study was the determination of the dependence of step periods on the movement speed of individuals, the assessment was carried out by a nonparametric criterion for Spearman correlation.</p> <p><bold><italic>RESULTS: </italic></bold>Comparative analysis of the obtained data revealed a decreasing pattern in all step periods separately (period of the first and second double supports and period of the first and second transfers) with an increase in the movement speed of the individual.</p> <p><bold><italic>CONCLUSION:</italic></bold> The obtained data make it possible to identify the possibility of using the step-cycle characteristics to identify individuals by gait when walking at different speeds. This stage can serve to further develop an algorithm for identifying a person by gait, as one of the parameters.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование.</bold> Вопросы идентификации личности являются актуальными в числе задач, решаемых при использовании данных камер видеонаблюдения и фиксации. При невозможности провести идентификацию по лицу актуальным становится проведение идентификации по походке.</p> <p><bold>Цель исследования</bold> ― определение цикла шага как одного из параметров идентификации личности по походке.</p> <p><bold>Материалы и методы.</bold> Проведено одноцентровое наблюдательное выборочное неконтролируемое исследование с участием 92 испытуемых. Итогом работы стала зарегистрированная База данных характеристик цикла шага (Свидетельство о государственной регистрации № 2022623085). Первичной конечной точкой исследования было установление зависимости периодов шага от скорости движения индивида. Оценка проводилась с помощью непараметрического критерия корреляции Спирмена.</p> <p><bold>Результаты.</bold> При сравнительном анализе полученных данных выявлена закономерность уменьшения всех периодов шага по отдельности (период первой и второй двойной опоры, период первого и второго переноса) при увеличении скорости движения индивида.</p> <p><bold>Заключение.</bold> Полученные данные позволяют использовать характеристики цикла шага для идентификации индивида по походке при ходьбе с различной скоростью.
